The difference is small (~6 months) when John/Lauren are young, but increases as John/Lauren get older. By the time they’re 60, John is “allowed” to be with someone three years younger than the youngest Lauren can be with. Older does not mean they are financially stable, mature, or appreciate a younger woman. I prefer older men and I am still single because of the immaturity. I haven’t had much luck dating older men.

I agree with almost all of this – but the part about the phone? That can be problematic for those of us with some hearing loss. I get along fine in person, even in restaurants, but my cell phone is a trial. Hearing aids and cell phones are not a good match….Email can be a much better alternative.

My first ‚girl friend‘ at 19 was my mom’s friend – I was her „pool boy“. At age 50, I have a very young sexy woman cleaning my pool. Personally I think 17 year old girls are somewhat confused when they meet a man who treats her well, no matter the age, and even more so if she has a father who cuts peoples nuts off. Stability, a strong sense of self, and advancement in his career are things older men can potentially bring to the table more often than a man in his 20s or 30s can, says Sherman. „People often ask whether an older man is more mature than a younger one,“ Sherman adds. „It depends upon the individual and their development and history. That said, extra years of life experience do often lead to greater maturity in relationships, and more life wisdom.“

Be prepared for some uncomfortable and chaotic family dynamics for a while. At 80 having had polio 76 years ago and lived normal life, raised 5 kids, had a wonderful husband that died 20 years ago. All kids married with children living all on their own with good jobs too. I walk with a crutch and have good health, drive my car around town but miss conversation.

I have wasted my time with other dating sites who could only suggest members living three hours drive or more away – a long way to go for that first cup of coffee. Every time I have thought about online dating or the like I have backed away because I do not have the confidence to progress it. I have tried Great Expectations , its just lunch and about 20 sites on the internet but lost money and nothing to show for it. I have had a rough growing up with parents, live in a rural area and only have one friend left. In general there is usually more females than there are males. I’m falling in love with Stitch because I felt safe at the event I attended.

Sienna wasrumored to be engaged to book editor Lucas Zwirner, who’s about a decade younger, in 2020. There are 14 years between Oscar winner Mira Sorvino and actor husband Christopher Backus. When the couple — who are now parents of four — married in 2004, she was 36 and he was 22. „Hellboy“ actor Ron Perlman was 72 when he married his „The StartUp“ co-star Allison Dunbar, who was 49, in Italy in 2022.

I am 53 years old and in love with a 79 year old woman. Though at times she thinks she needs to be an auntie. She admits she is afraid of her feelings. So many gals are so superficial and simple. We all have questions and concerns that require detailed answers.

In 2003, Bey released her smash hit single „Crazy in Love“ featuring Jay, which was reportedly inspired by the beginning stages of their romance. The „Everything Is Love“ musical duo tied the knot in 2008 and now share three children — daughter Blue Ivy Carter and twins Sir and Rumi. There’s a nearly 26-year age difference between Alec Baldwin and his second wife, former yoga instructor Hilaria Baldwin. They wed in 2012 when he was 54 and she was 28. Life is not fair to mature women…so what girl?

Several answers already, but I want to address a couple of your concerns. I get myself sick with worry in regards to my kids. But at the end of the day, I know at least they are healthy and safe. However, as MY children reach their teenage years I of course see everything from the perspective as a parent.

If your man has older kids, he might think he already has this parenting thing down. But every mom and dad duo has its own unique approach to parenting. His ex might let the kids stay up late, while you want early bedtimes for everyone. You may want to breastfeed, while he’s used to helping out by giving the baby a bottle. Regardless, dad might think he already knows it all when it comes to handling the baby and figuring out the early days. Especially if you’re a first-time mom, you might feel intimidated by your partner’s sense of ease with parenting.
